My Philosophy

I’m a LIFEstyle natural light on-location photographer in the St Louis, Missouri area. I prefer natural, earthy settings, and backgrounds for portraiture such as those found in parks, backyards, and the rustic architecture of quaint river towns, wineries, farms, city green areas, and historic villages. When indoors, I look for the best natural light available for color and depth to photos.  The best times to schedule photo sessions are in the morning before noon, and about two hours before sunset, to avoid harsh shadows.

My goal is to capture your personality and emotions  as you play, walk, enjoy the outdoors, show joy in relationships, be creative, and even show your silly side.

I’m a retired early childhood teacher and curriculum writer/editor and LOVE being with children and their families. So I’m happy to be able to do what I love to do and provide families with beautiful photos and memories.

Are you active in the military or a military veteran? It would be my privilege to capture your photos and thank you for your service!
